Sara Tye
Hi, I’m Sara Tye. When I founded redheadPR, the idea was to create a smart, passionate, agile communications agency that, put simply, delivered beyond my clients’ expectations.
That was in 2003. Now, 15 years on, we’ve achieved this many times over, for a wide range of clients in a diversity of market sectors.
My pre-redheadPR career was equally varied. In those 30 years, I developed stakeholder relations at Thames Water, headed communications at Yellow Pages, implemented BT’s ISO4002 environmental policy and managed the PR for The Body Shop and its founder, the late Dame Anita Roddick.
I’ve won three PR Week awards and was a finalist in the Cosmopolitan Women of the Year Awards, 1999. That same year I helped Yellow Pages win the EFQM Impact on Society award. 2016 saw me shortlisted in the First Women in Media category in the First Women awards, whilst in 2017, I was shortlisted for Female Entrepreneur of The Year Award in the South West Business and Community Awards.
I'm a proud ambassador for Sundried, the active sports clothing company.
As well as being a coach and mentor, I also help other agencies become hyper-efficient. I guide them to process map their organisation by improving and streamlining systems and ways of working. It enables them to become more profitable and outcome driven.
