Bartercard Helping bibic Charity Flourish

Trading platform Bartercard is strengthening its involvement with charitable organisations following its recent success working alongside children’s charity bibic. Operating in 75 offices across nine countries, the barter-trading system for businesses enables the exchange of goods and services within a global community.

As a small national charity, bibic is now able to access the services of other businesses using Bartercard’s trade exchange. This gives them a crucial advantage – helping them focus their attention towards providing developmental therapy for children and young people experiencing difficulties with conditions such as Autism, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down’s Syndrome and more.

When it comes to the importance of the partnership, chief executive officer, Lynda Williams stated that “being involved with Bartercard furthers our mission by both raising awareness and support for our work”. Not only this, but on a practical level, Williams went on to say other positives including how using the platform can help bibic “pay for services and equipment leaving our cash balance available to deliver and develop more services.”

This feedback will be promising for Bartercard CEO Philip Ciniglio – who heads-up the UK’s largest business-to-business trade exchange is making encouraging steps to diversify and increase upon their 54,000-strong cardholders globally.

Having already raised £133,688 in trade pounds for bibic, this highlights Bartercard’s flexibility with its users; their wide reach and professional approach means members enjoy access to a broad range of businesses, products and services.

One of Bartercard’s main mantras is focusing on care for their members and going that extra mile. Following the recent glowing response from bibic, it is evidence of a clear move in the right direction.

Bartercard provides a platform for its business members to fill their idle capacity and/or trade their excess goods and services in order to purchase products and offset expenses required for their own business. This allows the member to conserve cash, increase sales and make extra profit. Members also benefit from the use of Bartercard’s online portal, as well as a range of networking events and potential business opportunities.
